The rooms of the b&b and apartment are decorated in a Scandinavian style, with colorful accents. Light, fresh, neutral and cosy, so that you’ll quickly feel at home. Original details of the old farmhouse – such as the wooden beamed ceiling – have been preserved.
Room 'de Weidegang'
An extra bedroom with a bunk bed is available on request, ideally suitable for children or a maximum of 2 extra persons (surcharge €30 per person, children under 2 years can stay in the room free of charge).

Check in and out
Check-in is possible from 3 p.m. You can check out on the day of departure until 11 am.
Bike rental b&b
You can bring your own bicycles and store them with us. We have our own charging point for electric bicycles. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles. Costs 17.50 EUR per bike per day.
Park and charge the car
The B&B has ample private parking. There is a charging point for electric cars.
Common room
During your stay at the bed and breakfast you can use the common room. This cozy space is intended for meeting other guests, reading a book and playing games (there is a shuffleboard and a cabinet for games). Breakfast is also served here. It is possible to have breakfast in your room on request.
Facilities for children
Children are more than welcome. We have a trampoline and climbing frame in the garden. We also have a cot and high chair available. Would you like to use this? Please let us know when you book your room.
Weilandwellness
A hot tub and sauna are available on request. It is wise to book this in advance, together with your reservation. It takes a few hours before the water in the hot tub and/or sauna is heated up. We charge 60 EUR for half a day of 4 hours for the use of the hot tub. Bathrobes included. Of the high energy costs we charge 25 EUR for the use of the sauna, bathrobes included.
Pets not allowed
Although we love animals, pets are not allowed due to our chickens and rabbits.
Smoking is not allowed
It is not allowed to smoke in the common area and guest rooms of B&B De Zuiderstolp (not even in the garden, because of the thatched roof on the shed)
Accessibility b&b
Zuidermeer is easily accessible by car, via the highway A9 (Haarlem/Alkmaar) or A7 (Amsterdam/Hoorn). From Alkmaar you are in Zuidermeer within 30 minutes. From Hoorn in 10 minutes.
By train you can get off in Hoorn. It is approximately 7 kilometers from Hoorn Station to Zuidermeer. You can also go to Obdam Station. From Obdam it is about 4 kilometers to Zuidermeer. On request we can pick you up at the bus or train station.
